I know that if too many creditors look at your credit report alot, it will surely lower your credit score; but what if I, myself, look at my credit score alot, will it lower my credit score?

No. Checking your own credit report and someone doing a credit inquiry are two completely different things. You could check your report daily and it would have no negative effects.

Nope not at all. It will show up on teh version you pull as a credit inquiry. However a creditor I sont think will see it at all. But I do know for a fact it doesnt hurt your fico score.

Not if it's you checking it.

If you have others check it, it will lower your score. There is a loophole... If you are applying for a loan and you have several inquiries in a short amount of time(I think it is a month or two), it will not affect it. They see this as shopping around.

If you look at your own credit report (without the assistance of some third-party intermediary) then your credit score will be unaffected.
