hey shruti!! Wow a gf thinking of spend for her bf(thats rare).
As someone said in here, its the thought that counts. And if he understands you he will surely value whatever you give him.
Having said that I do understand ur dilemma. Heres my suggestion, being a guy, i would say you could :
1)Take him on treat on his birthday, that would be something new from him
2)Buy movie tickets for both of you, i.e if you know his taste for movies.
3)Buy him a huge rs 300 cake.
4)Buy him a mobile recharge of rs300 and tell him its only for him to call your number.
I would suggest you can do anything you like, its the thought that mattersi reitarrate.
And yeah dont forget to kiss him happy birthday, aint gonna cost you a thing. But will surely make feel like a millionaire.

Why don't you invite him to your house, cook something nice for him. Make him a birthday cake. Spend quality one-on-one time with him. Let him know you care for him and are happy he's spending his birthday with you.
