alright. they told my friend he had cancer and three weeks to live. then he went back today and they said it wasnt cancer and that it was just a blood clot. how can doctors get cancer mixed up with a blood clot. im really confused.

Malpractice what else !
That's possibly the best our doctors can do :-) sorry to say.
As if giving us medicine which will make us sicker then we were before taking them, wasn't enough.
No wonder Doctor's Call what they do PRACTICE :-) , Says a lot doesn't it ?
It would be better to get a 2nd opinion,first.
Ask your friend's lawyer to check it out for Malpractice and incompetence. .

Doctors always do a biopsy (unless it's in an unreachable portion of the brain) and blood tests to determine if a mass is cancer. They could lose their licenses for massive mistakes like that. I would seriously consider the fact that your friend may not be very truthful in this situation.
