I've seen and heard of black and white(harlequin), brown and black, tan or fawn. My favorite and the most attractive in my opinion is the harlequin. Great danes are the best tempered, and can be very well behaved if trained. Like any huge dog, you must train them to be social and well behaved, but if you do they sure make awesome family dogs.I personally love to see them with their natural ears and long beautiful tail. That's the way they were born, and that's the way they should stay. Well, that's my opinion at least.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The color of a Dane does not matter, except to a person who shows them. I see all the colors as a foster parent. I personally prefer a Mantel.
You should be looking at personally first and color second. What you like as a color may not appeal to others. It's a matter of personal choice.
