Buddist Repbulic of India

American and European countries do base although supposedly secular are influenced by religion. Our Monarchy was head of the Church of England. George Bush likes to show his conservative Christian values. Italy and other other such countries are heavily religious. Just becuase they don't have the word Catholic or Christian in the name of the Country. But come to think of it, Iran is called Ian, not Islamic Republic of Ian, same with Pakistan etc.
Islam isn't about killing people, so stop trying to makie it sound like it is.
the world has a lot of problems now becuase of the West's foreign policy in places like Africa, Middle and Far East or anyone who doens't act like their little lap dog.
I condemn all acts of terrorism, but terrorism is a reaction of the actions made by the US and it's allies. AlQaeda wasn't a household name 20 years ago. Not until the US "invaded" Iraq and likewise with Afghanistan had we seen such attacks.
And before you start thinking 9/11 there is so much doubt about what went on there. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. If some Italians (not Italy istelf) attacked the US would the US then go an invade France?
Politics in the Islamic world do need to progress a bit, don't forget we f**ked with them first!

Your question is very interesting. Can you swallow the fact that in sunday edition of Times of India-Delhi edition two articles were there that there is a mass conversion of white U.K to Islam. The centre for attraction today is Isalm. Who cares other religion. They just exist but do not have a bass. In a Iaslamic country there is not discrimination like there you told the names of countreis. Even black mulsim and a poor muslim has the religious right to stand with the kind of Saudia Arabia and can offer prayers. Kill those who creats problems for you says Quran. Why Amerca is afraid of Islamisation of the world. The fact is the jews who controlls the economy of the christian republics are afraid of Islam. They are the real culprit.Why dont they leave the holy mosque in Tel Aviv, this only can resolve the whole issue.

You have a good point there actually! I might be said to be a Muslim and I live in a country with 99% of Muslim population. Tough, it is acceptable that names of some countries sounded strange to you.
The reason for the difference is that those countries claim to apply Islamic Principles in their governmental style whereas US, UK etc. do not claim so.
I believe it is the most unwise think to reflect the religion in politics. And please remember there are countries like mine, who has a majority of Muslims and a secular, democratic state.

Islam, unlike many other religions is just not a religion. Being muslim we understand that it is a way of life, a system where even the manners of drinking water are also explained in detail. There goes your answer about relating things to Islam.
By the way India is not Budhist, it is secular. Second, please improve the tone of your questions, they show your ignorance and the reflect whatever your religion has taught you (Can you tell me what that is?).

do u know why women wear burkha? do u know why we cover our hair? do u know why most muslim men have beards and those long, sometimes worn out clothes? becoz islam beleives in simplicity. they are not to opress someone.
when u look at a bunch of women in burkha or bunch of men with head covered and beards, then what do u see? i now u will see the opression. but u dont see something beyond that point.
but u dont see that irrespective of man/women, rich/poor, old/young, they all look the same -- they all look EQUAL. thus it helps u to keep ut arrogance and pride in control.

I am not a muslim..but would like to answer your question......you do not seem to have a true understanding of islam...you seem to believe all that right wing christian elements want to you to believe..
and may i add that soon enough..may be in a couple of decades you will have christian republics
islam preaches violence only as much as christanity does...both being semitic....
and all most all violence and all wars are socio-ecnomic and Political in nature rather than religious..
And one more Thing ,India has 85% of Hindus,where as Bhuddists are a miniscule minority much smaller than that of christians and Muslims in india
