So this is kind of a hard question to explain...but ok, lemme try. So, there´s this girl right, and shes a pretty direct person, you know? She just says it like it is, and says how she feels like it is, and everything. (Not that this type of honesty has been of any good to her so far, lol, but she still does it.) Ok, so the problem arises when she wants to be with a guy, bcuz she tells them right before anything gets too serious, what kind of person she is. (She´s kinda insecure and tends to overthink things alot.) Lets say the guy, in the beginnin says thats perfectly alright, he understands and everything. The girl remains somewhat skeptical, but kind of happy right? So, after a couple of months, the guy kind of...well i dunno if can call it avoidin her, but just sort of is different...like he´s tired of the insecurties n whatnot...just like the girl knew he would be, only she thought it would happen earlier than it did.

So, my question is...do we all have to play games and act like we´re somebody we´re not if we wanna hang on to someone we care about...at the start at least? But why do that when its just an act? Isnt giving to a person straight better than pretendin to be something you´re not for a short period of time?

Be who you are if people don't like you for that then you don't want a relationship with them anyway. You will never be truly happy and satisfied in life if you pretend to be something your not.

Playing games does you as much a disservice as your partner.
Either you are true to who you are and they like you or they don't

Some men and women use being overly-direct as a defense mechanism against being emotionally hurt, if they put up a "wall" before it gets serious then when it does get serious they feel less affected. But, chances are that all that does is speed up the end of the relationship and the emotional hurt.

He must think you expect to much from him. Maybe try to take one step at a time and don`t be so picky. You will only hurt yourself in the long run. One can`t expect everyone to meet ones expectaions perfectly. He is most likely scared to get hurt..Be real and let love be the answer..

for a girl..to get into a any relationship, she will be at the losing end because end of the day...she's the one who's being called 'cheap', 'naive', stupid', etc...so I think it's ok for her to express her insecurities to the guy.

Then only the guy who really understands her and accepts her for what she is should stay with her

well, i didn't ask u to act......just don't show your weaknesses, that's all.....lol.....at least on the first time u meet your gf/bf.......yes, your weakness will slowly discovered by the person but it's ok.......as long as he/she loves u, that'll be no problem......at the same time, try to correct yourself....... :)
