Unfortunately more and more often, Islam has been associated with terrorism and violence due to the actions of a few extreme individuals who’ve taken it upon themselves to do the most heinous crimes in the name of Islam.

To understand Islam’s stance on terrorism, one must refer to its original sources, the Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, which are explicit in their prohibition of any form of injustice including that of wanton violence which seeks to instill fear, injury or death to civilians.

Don't only listen to others, you have also to educate yourselves. I really encourage everyone to learn more about Islam. I have visited the following web sites and found them interesting:

The day you see all the hate against Islam stopped, know that the secular society has finally taken over the Christian government.
Christianity in USA these days is in desperate need to divert the attention against their faith and their holy scripture which happens to be "100% from God" to a little longer with a hope that if they finish their biggest enemy (Islam), they will not have any problem finishing secular and other societies like Atheists.

Lucky for them, they have found some really nut people who claimed to be Muslims and did everything against Islam.
If I was a Christian, I would be thanking Muslims to diverting the attenion from asking me questions like "So, the world is 6000 years old, huh?" or "So, the earth has pilars, huh/" or "So, women should not be able to speak in churches, huh?"

Excuse ME!!!! having lived in a Muslim country for 6 years it is exactly what you read about, my Husband and I being from a Western Country was used to equality, I.e I would pay for our groceries however the change would be given to my husband, I would pay for the telephone bill but before it was accepted they would check with him, i could never be served in a restaurant before him, and it was frowned upon because we walked side by side and I had Male friends outside of my marriage. Re Muslim woman equal???? not a cat in hells chance or any woman for that matter. Does this answer your question????

Islam was founded by the false prophet Muhammad who simplified the Christian doctrines and mysteries to come up with a simplified and understandable religion suited to the (then) pagan Arabs to get their support in building an empire in the (then) Christian middle-east.

The Koran was written by a renegade monophysite monk who ran into the desert where he met with Muhammad.
That explains why it sometimes talks of Jesus and Mary although in an imperfect manner.
Together they came up with the heresy of Islam.

Book 19, Number 4294:
It has been reported from Sulaiman b. Buraid through his father that when the Messenger of Allah appointed anyone as leader of an army or detachment he would especially exhort him to fear Allah and to be good to the Muslims who were with him. He would say: Fight in the name of Allah and in the way of Allah. Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a holy war, do not embezzle the spoils ; do not break your pledge; and do not mutilate (the dead) bodies; do not kill the children. When you meet your enemies who are polytheists, invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these, you also accept it and withold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them. Then invite them to migrate from their lands to the land of Muhairs and inform them that, if they do so, they shall have all the privileges and obligations of the Muhajirs. If they refuse to migrate, tell them that they will have the status of Bedouin Muilims and will be subjected to the Commands of Allah like other Muslims, but they will not get any share from the spoils of war or Fai' except when they actually fight with the Muslims (against the disbelievers). If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah's help and fight them. When you lay siege to a fort and the besieged appeal to you for protection in the name of Allah and His Prophet, do not accord to them the guarantee of Allah and His Prophet, but accord to them your own guarantee and the guarantee of your companions for it is a lesser sin that the security given by you or your companions be disregarded than that the security granted in the name of Allah and His Prophet be violated When you besiege a fort and the besieged want you to let them out in accordance with Allah's Command, do not let them come out in accordance with His Command, but do so at your (own) command, for you do not know whether or not you will be able to carry out Allah's behest with regard to them.
