most religion evolved with its believers, some religions have stayed relatively the same (like with aboriginal people) while others have changed dramatically since their beginnings
people often confuse "religion" with cultures and traditions that are usually regional, and a lot of religions borrowed (stole) from the regions they travelled through (so you have Christmas trees from Germany and Nativity Scenes from Italy, both of which would have been forbidden in Mother Mary and Baby Jesus's home.)
religions started out as tribal ghost fears, and the ability for humans to believe that invisible forces could have an affect (negative and positive) on material things led to taboos and worship.
the first 'gods' were tribal gods, and tribes respected, and never thought of stealing, each others tribal gods
the Hebrews (and in the USA, the American Indians) evolved the tribal god idea into a One God theory, with no other gods involved in running things. (Although the first words of Genesis is "Elohim" which means 'many gods" and not "One God")
Jesus took that message one step further and said that God was more of a loving Heavenly Father than a veangeful war like entity.
Islam is basically the same, they share the same history up to a certain point, but they do not accept Jesus as the Messiah, only as a Holy Prophet.
India, China, Japan have tribal religions and borrowed religions and a lot of borrowed and stolen traditions and customs, etc. Mostly they draw the same conclusions as the big 3 (it is better to be good to your neighbor than to lie, cheat, steal, murder, etc)

Modern religions are mostly a jumbled mass of borrowed and stolen beliefs that have evolved over the ages.

I think that human beings have a hole deep inside them that needs to be filled, and for most, a religion of some sort does the trick. Since everyone is searching for something, and we're all different, then different means of filling the hole are necessary.

Picture the little old lady that hobbles off to mass every morning - this doesn't do it for all of us, but for her, it's what she needs. The folks bowing to Allah every time the sun rises or sets (or whatever) are getting what they need. You can say the same for every form of organized religion out there - SOMEbody needs it, or thinks they do. The rituals, or the fellowship, the teaching or being taught... it's all from the same basic human hunger.

I believe in God. I also believe that there is only one God. I think that all of the various religions and forms of worship are aimed at the same God. The difference is interpretation - and that fall's to mankind.

Religion is the practical application of spiritual things in our daily
lives. Spiritual things being the search for meaning in our lives.
God doesn't change, but people do. And God sends prophets
to all of His children, in different times, and cultures. That
the people could understand according to thier culture and the age they lived in. That is basically why there are so many different beliefs.

faith became born from some make-have self assurance approximately an answer to a query that they could no longer decide. existence exists, because it has for every day, because of the fact the it in basic terms could no longer be yet in any different case. existence exists, even nonetheless on the start it would desire to no longer look fairly real looking, in basic terms because of the fact some remember/capability structures are nondeterministic.

Almost all religions in the world are about man seeking God.

Christianity and the Holy Bible are about God seeking man. It starts In The Beginning. "Adam, where are you?"

Jesus was sent for the whole purpose of saving every soul in the world, no matter their religion.

God created us all to be different and unique. Does it not follow that he would provide us with many different methods fo getting in touch with him? If you have 5 mice, each with different dietary needs, you wouldn't feed them the same food, would you?
