Judging by most of the responses, liberty is meaningless. Americans are so ignorant of liberty they don't even know what it is anymore. Their attitude is "prove to me that we have lost liberty". They are the reason tyranny can prevail. How pathetic!

How, exactly, has this supposed loss of privacy hurt you?

Where, exactly, have you been restricted from traveling?

In what ways, exactly, have your *local* police been using the Patriot Act?

I am not a supporter of the Patriot Act, BTW, but I have never been able to find any good examples of how people have been "damaged" by it. Without such examples there is zero chance of ever getting it in front of the supremes.

Without the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, I would be free to live on the street.

Total freedom gives all of us the right to live without bills, just as free as can be, on the street.

Imagine if all of the people who live under liberty were to lose their homes and then find themselves on the street.

At that point, they would be free.

So, lets all exercise our freedom and live on the street.

I think the price to sacrifice my liberty would have to be death.

Give me liberty or give me death.

If it comes down to it. I'm prepared to die for my liberties. No matter who the enemy may be.
