If so do the math:
minutes in shower x GPM = total amount of water u use everytime u take a shower....
If u cut u shower time down think about all of the water u would conserve...
For example:
My shower is 2.5 GPM ( is is written on the nozzle) x 15 minute shower = 37.5 gallons of water every shower!
If u dont care about the environment, please dont answer this question.
How much water do u use every shower?

My dad used to make us take navy showers... You run just enough water to get yourself wet. You then turn the water off and soap yourself down from head to toe and then turn the water back on just long enough to rinse yourself off. That would reduce water consumption to 30 seconds to wet down and 90 seconds to rinse off. This is two minutes of water at 2.5 Gallons per minute... Only 5 gallons of water per shower!

But I have to flush the toilet twice because the federal government won't let me have more than a 2.2 gallon flush toilet. If I had a 2.6 or 3 gallon flush toilet, I could do the job in one flush and save 1.4 gallons of water each time I went to the bathroom, but I'd be in violation of federal regulations.

My water meter says I use about 30 liters of water for every shower (20L of cold water and 10L of hot water...approx)...I shower 3 times a week so I consume about 100 liters every week. Where I live I have to pay for the water I use and the prices range from 0,5$/1000liters (1m3) of cold water and 1,2 $/1000 liters of hot water.
I care about the environment so I try to minimize the water consumption and so should you :)

I hope asking this question soothed your environmental conscience.
Here is a question in response: Did you know that water is a renewable resource, but the coal that was used to create the electricity to run the computer that you are using frivolously is not only non-renewable but it also pollutes the environment and contributes to global warming?

That's not really a question, it's more a statement about the environment.
