They just seem so much more experienced, and it makes them classically handsome.
Plus their more mature.

Usually, erm, his stable finances. His stability when it comes to maturity and mind. He's stable such that he's settled down with his life and is now looking for peace and quiet, no chaos, just pure living in the most humane sense. His knowledge about the world that hes been exposed to and the lessons he's learned from it. His dry sense of humor with full-blown wit behind his wisecracks, especially if it pertains to the ways of the world.
But mostly, its just the stability in him. Full stop.
Oh and plus, his middle age crisis should be well over thus the word stability is emphasized here.

Interesting......being 56 I must say that a man in his 40's is barely at his peak, emotional, physically, socially & sexually.
I think a man in his 40's still has many hang ups and not really ready to be totally uninhibited in any facet of life. I might be wrong, but it comes from my life time of experience.
I would say that a man in his 40's has many amazing years ahead of him.

I have to tell you, today, some guys in the 40s are still immature for me. So, to answer your question, I'm thinking of someone who is in their 40s as well as mature. I like ones that have MANNERS (wanting to know what I'd like to do instead of either just doing what he wants or not caring of my feelings), PATIENCE (no hot-headed Bill O'Reilly types), MATURITY (not flying off the handle or throwing a hissy fit...I like the young at heart like going to Disneyland), SMARTS (reasonable, common sense...no Bill O'Reilly types). Just basically knowing more about women than the 20 year olds who just want to get someone in the sack.
However, anyone that is SMART kind of covers all the bases for me.

well i like a man who is mature and of course treats me with respect without playing games usually by 40 men already done all the running around and are ready to settle down

Oh man!Everything.Their mature looks.The natural grey high lights are driving me crazy.Their calm personality.Their manners,the fact that you are dealing with a real man.They are responsible and take it slow.They don't just go"Hey u wanna have sex"?They dress nice and smell good.I could go on and on and on.
