This is a misconception about ISLAM and MUSLIMS. The main duty of every muslim is to propagate GOD's message and if muslims kill none-believers then how will they fulfill this responsibility. You have to think logically. Nobody is born with the knowledge of ISLAM. Either they are muslims because their parents were muslim or they studied islam and realized the truth and accepted the message. They are humans like Christians, Jews, Hindus, etc... Just their faith doesnt mean that they become alians.... It is the duty upon every person, once he accept the faith of Islam, to call the humanity towards the message of GOD and to save the humanity as a whole and not kill them... This (Muslims Kill none believers) is just a propagenda of intellectuals of other religions to stop people accepting the Truth and to remain in darkness. I am not claiming that all muslims have attained great spritual heights and salvation. Infact one has to strive really hard to attain light. Islam is only the path. A right and perfect path indeed.

Depends on how you interpret it... like all religions. If you did not need to interpret the words of 'god' that would be science, i.e. you would not have to argue on what it says. The problem is the way muslims have been left uneducated and underprivilidged by continuous intervention of the western countries... But one thing is true: Islam somehow does not give the people the drive to invent and go further. But note that Catholism did not either before and Protestanism gave that push. Islam needs exactly something like that. Countries like Turkey, Lebanon, Algeria and Morocco are most likely to create a new wave in Islam, i.e. materialistic and mystic at the same time.

Islam is a religion, like any other. The problem it presents in modern culture that it is not meant to be just a religion, Koran is also a book of law, A harsh, medieval book of law, so to speak.

The accusation the Islamic terrorists -who are, even in Islamic countries, a serious problem- use to justify their actions is not the lack of belief as you believe. There is a special word for that accusation, which shares its root with 'insult' in Arabic. In their minds, the attacks are aimed at those who insult and belittle their religion, not at non-believers.

Anyway, think about it this way: compared to Christianity, Islam is still a young religion, younger by more than half a millennium. Comparatively, Islam is about 1400 years old: where was Christianity at that time?

Lets just say that Muslims aren't the ones who invaded a forgien country and are killing innocent civilians, raping 14 year old girls, and stripping men naked and taking pictures for thier own pleasure.

But of course it wouldn't be fair for me to say Christians are all bad by those few bad examples. I think the same should be said about Muslims

for a start - get your facts right! muslims do NOT want to kill all non believers......certain hardcore fundamentalist groups attatched to the religion have warped certain elements of the teachings way beyond their original meaning. islam is actually a very peaceful religion and most of its followers would probably be pretty hacked off with how they are currently being portrayed. e.g. what do you think 'jihad' means? no- not a holy war as the media would have you believe - it simply means a personal journey or struggle......wise up suckas , before its too late! i am not a muslim.

In Britain where I live,most Muslims are good people.It's just foreign ones trying to give that much-needed sense of I.D that all teenagers need,it ends in tears.They prefer Christians over atheists when it comes to white people though,I think Muslims find it hard to genuinely understand someone if they don't believe in God,hence some Muslim young people can get angry at "non-believers",as most British young people act in a fairly unacceptable manner if they are not Muslim.

islam is good, most muslims are good. no wonder it was a muslim british and pakistan who helped Uk a few days back. and it was some Iraqis that helped get Zarqawi.

so people should look at them as true muslims who say no to evxtremists. but people tend to ignore this and only bother about people who do bad. why,? it is something they will be able to answer only if they look withion themselves.

but i will not speak up for the terrorists. for them there is no religion and no humanity. these crazy people will never be sucessful -- neither in this world nor in Allah's world. and as per the Quran one thing is for sure, those who do evil, create mischeif and practise malacy in the name of Allah will be the first to be cast in Hellfire. for Allah hates prideful boasters and loves the As-saabeereen (those who are patient and those who endure).

noah -- pbuh endured the laughs of those who mocked him by saying -- u are building an ark, but where is the flood?
abraham -- pbuh endured when his own father threw him in fire for refusing idol worship
moses -- pbuh endured when the pharoah comitted atrocities against the people and when they worshipped the Calf.
jesus --pbuh endured so much so everytime he was ridiculed at.
muhammed-pbuh endured when they used to spit, stone, throw trash in his home, call him with ephithets.
