Is there a punch line coming in a minute? (no offence but: HUH?)

Me thinks you got a little dyslexia going on in your question. Either that, or you're talking about a brand of Christianity I haven't heard of before.

If the former is the case, then atheists will go to hell and Christians to heaven because the bible says so. That's the theory, anyway, and to go into anymore detail would take *way* too much space.

Personally, I hope there *isn't* a god, and that the whole Christian dogma isn't true. Otherwise, I'm fairly well screwed...:P

nextexiter -- good answer.

Because Heaven and Hell are allegories for life on Earth, and since atheists take themselves as the models for God by honoring no power above their own, they live into the idea of having a ubiquitous knowledge of the Earth. Christians, on the other hand, place themselves in bondage by living their entire lives in the service of a high power that will never come, effectively handicapping any use they have while still living.

A bad question built on a faulty premise. Sorry, pal. If anybody's getting into Heaven, I imagine it will be those who have tried hardest to please God.

(The only possible reason I could think of is that an atheist's good deeds are likely pure altruism, while some Christians' good deeds are just to buy God's favor. Is that what you're getting at?)

I thought that if you are atheist that heaven and hell don't exist anyway? And if they do under what terms?

Since neither heaven nor hell exists, nobody is going anywhere.

Athiests like to live life on the edge and screaming and yelling after you have been thrown into a blast furnace is the ultimate adrenaline rush.
