why propose to him,let him ask you.because the man supost to ask the women.but if you love him like you say you do then sit him down and talk to him and bring up the subject of marrage and see what his remarks are about that.if it sounds good to you then ask him.nothing wrong in that if you really love the gut.so good luck.

Try to talk about it with him first. Feel him out how he feels about it, and if you think he is cool in just very casual way say let's get married.(I guess that's what you are refering to)
