I would say no, especially if you are chewing Extra or some long-lasting flavour gum but honestly who does that... really....

If your mother says don't chew it, do you swallow it in spite? Can you catch it on your tonsils, and a-heave it left and right (eeeh errr!)
Does your chewing gum lose it's flavor, on the bed post over night
On the beeeed poooooost oooooooverrrrrrrrrr -
A dollar is a dollar and a dime is a dime, I'd sing another chorus, but I haven't got the time
On the beeeeeed pooooooooooost ooooooooooverrrrrrrr niiiiiiiiiight!
DUDE I LOVE THIS SONG!

No it usually has a different taste by morning. Like a spider in it or some dust, even dog fur or spit. Occasionally it falls off and lands in my slipper which is a totally different flavor in the morning. And if my mom puts lemon pledge on the head board> WOW what a taste sensation! don't even have to brush my teeth. Lemony fresh!

No it does not!
I repeat - chewing-gum does not lose his flavour lying on the bedpost over night.
if you been chewing it all night long it would be a diffrent storie...

Goodness....you're showing your age aren't you? This was the title of a song that was popular in the UK in the 1950s. George Formby, I think......
