I have been around these religous people so much that I am beginning to realize my own stupidity. I have begun to become aware of a certain divine creator. How could I be so ignorant, of course the Flying Spaghetti Monster created the earth! I think we should consider saving our souls and stopping global warming.

I'll begin to answer this question with a quote from Stephen Wienberg.
""Religion is an insult to human dignity, without it you would have Good people doing Good things and Evil people doing Evil things.....for Good people to do Evil things, it takes religion.""
You obviously are one of the "Good People." You think rationally and freely and you don't conform to the influences of others. You naturally are prone to doing good, its how the human species will survive. Religion causes many problems with the world, especially since there's not 1 uniformed Religion. Most are doing harm to another b/c they feel threatened about the other's religion becoming too strong and powerful.
You obviously have come to understand the earth, solar system, and are learning the trades of the universe. You have an understanding of these things. The one's that do not somewhat fear its vast expansive knowledge to obtain. They look at it as blashphemy because they can't even begin to understand it.
Religion is like a dictatorship, follow the dic's rules or be outcast, shot, or tortured. Whereas you and I know we're the right one's in the stance via free thought. I'll conclude with a quote from Carl Sagan that should help others accept the way things are.
"It is far better to grasp the universe as it really is than to persist in Delusion, however satisfying and reassuring."
So these people aren't even thinking about global warming and don't have a natural respect for the earth and it's survival, they just hope to be saved.

I Think that the best thing for you to believe in is a new and exciting website...your questions and answers here are starting to sound old and rehearsed. I'm not an atheist but I've come across some who were lived a lot more Godly than those who profess faith...As William Blake (I think) said: there were Christians, ere (meaning before) Christ was born.

I understand why people become athiest when a preacher tells you that you will go to hell if you arent perfect, if that were true all of us are going to hell including the preacher. Be a good person & God will explain it all to you one day. Or we'll all just be dead, but just incase be a good person anyways.
