Some1 u cant count on. some1 u know will b there for u. some1 who doesnt "use" u. why do u ask that question?

Someone you can count on and trust with all your secrets. A true friend is someone who is caring to you and takes the friendship thing very serious. A true friend will not back stab you or go around hurting you by creating rumors and telling everyone your secrets. A true friend is always by your side for better or for worst. No matter where you go you can always count on her/him. If you two get mad at each other you two still have each others backs. A true friend is always there to hear you out when you get hurt or when you have a problem. Even when you need someone to cry on and that true friend gives you comfort. He or she does not take advantage of your trust. Does not lie and always understands you. Well that's pretty much what a "TRUE" friend means to me, but the poem down there that they passed around to me in myspace pretty much tells it all also :)

A true friend will only appears when you have trouble. You may have a lot of friends but how many of them will help you when you are in some sort of trouble. A true friend will standby you and help you without you repaying his/her effort in assisting you to overcome the problem. If people expect you to repay the kindness after the problem, then they are not your true friends or people who leaves you in the lurch when you are in problem are also not your true friends.

Someone you sincerely care about. Someone you would not hurt in any way and would attempt to not let anyone else hurt them. Definitely someone you would not do anything to that you wouldn't want done to yourself.
Someone you are TRUE to.
