What is the next letter in the series: "B, C, D, E, G,..."? Why?

There are two possible answers, and considering the set-up here either could be correct.

If following the sound logic layed out by previous answers, then P would be the next logical letter.

However if we consider the fact that the letters may be organized in a sequential series, the H would be the next logical letter. In this case we would skip A, then used B,C,D,E.. then following your lead, we skip F, then G,H,I,J skip K, then L,M,N,O.

Divide the series in this fashion:

B..D..G

and C...E...
So the next logical inference is "H" which comes at 3rd place after E...
