its dna or rna in a protein shell. its hard to find a cure because they mutate so the protein shell cannot be recognized and destroyed by antibodies produced by the immune system.
vaccines can cure it because they are just the protein componant of the virus, injected into you so your immune system designs many antibodies against it so the real virus does not have a chance by the time it gets in.

It is difficult to destroy a parasite because it has to depend on others to survive. Similarly a virus is also a parasite (not in the strict sense) living within human, animal and plant cells. Antibiotics can not penetrate the living cells and kill the viruses selectively. Hence there is no effective antivirus medicines available.
Please see the webpage for more details on Virus.

I got diagnosed with herpes (type 2) about three years ago, whilst I was still in college and had a dumb one-night stand. I know loads of people say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and all of a sudden it seemed like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. After all, who wants to go out with someone who has sores around her private parts? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/UuvVx everything changed.
Not only was I able to eradicate all traces of the hsv from my system in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just last week, in front of everyone in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This system gave me back the opportunity to be happy and experience true love again. Now I hope that I can help others by sharing this story.

Virus are made also of unique DNA and RNA. Unlike bacteria that can be seen under microscope, virus needs highly specialized microscope to be seen and a lot of procedures and requirements in order to be cultured and analyzed. This is one reason why there are only few antiviral medicines. Mostly for common colds, flu and also common STD'd like herpes. Aside from that, virus tends to change. They can mutate to protect themselves and to adapt to certain environmental changes. That explains the different starins of Influenza virus, the birth of new viruses that we heard this past years like bird flu,ebola..etc. Hope this helps. God bless!

If I remember correctly, there is no CURE for any virus. There are vaccines, which introduce either a dead or weakened form of a virus so your system can create antibodies to combat that type of virus. But once you get it, either your system adapts to destroy it, or you have it for life.
