swollen gums?

how am i to deal with swollen gums it will happen quiet frequent and it will contain puss it will go away in a few days n it will come back again i am skeptical i have tried all ways to deal with it but to no avail

Go to a dentist. Puss coming out of your gums means infection.

You need to see your dentist ASAP. You have an obvious infection and must be treated. Many people aren't aware that untreated dental infections are directly related to heart disease, look it up. Sounds like you have advanced periodontal disease (severe gum disease) and will possibly loose a few teeth if not most of them by now. It will certainly not cure itself, no matter what "home remedy" you try. Bacteria get between the tooth and gums and create problems that can only be solved by proper dental treatments. Usually that means you need x-rays, measurements called "perio charting" and deep cleanings after determining which teeth can be saved. There are products that are antibiotics that can be placed in the deeper pockets around the teeth to help, called Arestin or perio-chips. The bottom line is- get to a dentist because you have a serious condition that is affecting your whole body, not just your mouth.

If it is recurring, you need to see a dentist right away before it gets worse. When the gums swell like that, rinse your mouth out with warm salty water. This will ease the swelling and the irritation but this is only a cover up. It will continue to come back until you take care of the infection. To do that you need antibiotics. It sounds like a bacterial infection & possible absess. Get to the dentist, the next thing will be your whole face/ neck will swell up if you don't take care of it soon. I just went through this...not fun!

Gum infection! You need to go to the Dentist and have your teeth deep scaled to get all hidden bacteria under the gum line. Might even put you on antibiotics for 10 days.

It sounds like you have an infection. Go to a dentist and get some antibiotics. I have had numerous dental problems due to a broken jaw as a result of a car accident. You can gargle with salted water, peroxide and you can get a antibiotic rinse you gargle with from the dentist that would help. Good luck!

Make a appointment with your dentist.

But in the mean time get a large bottle of 3 %hydrogen peroxide.(very inexpensive) Gently brush twice daily and swish in between.

Hydrogen peroxide is excellent in healing gums and wounds. It tastes a little funky (don't swallow it) but will bubble down into the gums and will take major leaps in healing your gums. I have used it for 40 years per my dentist and have very healthy gums.

You need a good cleaning from a dental hygenist. You have periodontal (gum) disease. by brushing at least 2 times a day and flossing at least once a day should help keep the swelling under control. When you see a hygenist, ask about brushing techniques. it's not a stupid question and that type of question is part of a hygenist's job.
