Just did...someone placed a question up a minute ago that got deleted...I happened to catch it.
That is sad. He was my hero. They even have the site down in honor of him. I do hope everyone is taking it well.
Stingrays can be dangerous...they are not like manta rays. The stingray barb punchered him straight in the chest during the filming of a documentary.

Yes actually I read it here in a question. I went to the site on Yahoo and read about it. Very sad. I am very sure that his family are in shock. I feel very bad for them. He was so young only 44. And what really makes me sad is I have read a lot of people on here downing him, and saying he got what he deserved. I don't believe he did. He was a very courageous man. And from what I have read about him a wonderful husband and father. God will be with him.

People won't agree with me, but it had to happen. Man being pally pally with wild animals is simply asking for trouble. Man showing disrespect for nature is asking for problems later and Man pretending he can conquer and tame all.....result is what happened to the Crocodile Hunter.

How sad...and how weird that he'd die from an ocean creature instead of a mammal or reptile that he worked with on a constant basis. I was really sad to hear of his passing, his poor wife and two children are going to miss him terribly. He was their whole life. I wonder if Teri his wife will continue to work with animals on television specials, she has quite a career with animals herself. He will be greatly missed...

I heard the news. I think he had a death wish anyway. It was just a matter of time before something killed him. Never understood why he had to wrestle the animals, in order to teach people about them.

I agree with Mike. A part of my inner Australian died with him. He was the man who made me realize that I could put on a damned good Australian accent.

it was so sudden. I would of expected he would of died from wrestling a shark or a croc. My inner aussie died as well and now i feel an emptiness...
