Well bitterness basically stems from unresolved hurt.A person is bitter when they let their personal issues(anger,jealously,recentment,sadness....etc) affect their relationship with others. You say you have forgiven, but, have you forgotten?they are two different things, but they compliment each other.NO ONE has a right to JUDGE YOU!,however, when two or more people say the same thing about you,you need to re-evaluate yourself as a person(maybe you are still hurt if so, you need to work you way round it).Do not let anyone make you feel bad.All the best.

If you have forgiven him for every thing he has done, you are not bitter. Bitter is holding a grudge against him for the things he has done.

It can be when someone shows hostility toward the person, can't move forward with other relationships, always gets anger when that person's name is mentioned, sometimes stalks and vandalize the other person's property.

not too freely to open up again to others, cause you've been hurt so bad in the past. I know all about it cause I am.
