True. These theories are proven to be accurate, but the problem with getting people to believe it's true is that they're only theories. This fact only is the basis for an anti-argument (which isn't a very good argument anyway), but you'll still have ignorant, white trash, god-fearing people saying that they "didn't not evolve from no goddamned ape!"

This Christian will answer your question. You're right, as is science. Ya see, I used to be one of those "rocket scientists" people make reference to. The thing is, if you read the Bible, it tells you clearly that a man's life is but a blink of God's eye. An eye blink is only a few milliseconds long, so if we do the math, it turns out that God's six days to create the earth was probably on the order of 3 billion years. Interestingly enough, this doesn't take rocket science. Junior High School math tells one all they need to know. My question is always, "How dare you limit God to a twenty-four hour day?"

One false assumption which is implicit in your question is that there is a single uniform Christian interpretation of the Bible . The sequence of creation in genesis is astoundingly precise and only recently scientific discoveries are actually catching up to this example. Yes, there are some people who interpret the Bible sometimes and make certain questionable conclusions . The reality though ,is that other interpretations are made as well. Try reading a complete biography of Issac's Newton, you will be very surprised at one example of how a great intellect is able to accept and learn from the Bible and still be an accomplished scientist.

Since you just stated in another question that not one Christian responded to this question, I thought I would respond.
You are assuming that all Christians believe in a 6500 year old earth. Well, I am a Christian and I can subscribe to your theory of a billions year old earth and still believe in creationism. Your knowledge of science is exceptional. Now if only your knowledge of Christians was just as accurate then you would have an impressive question.

um.. excuse me but i think you're wrong on the "no christian answers this cuz they're beaten by science" part cuz i'm christian and i'm a teanager!!!
did you ever think that maybe god hd the light travelling towards us .. i mean he's god. he can let the light of the stars reach us in a short period of time.
1)the dinosaurs riding on the ark can be real. Noah could bring baby dinsaurs, which if you didn't know are small or Noah could bring dinosaur eggs.
2)i'm not sure but i think they use carbon 14 dating to measure the age of the earth. here's an update.. carbon dating goes like this. the scientist send an estimate age of the artifact. if the lab doesn't show the results they want, then they bring it to another lab to get what they want.
if you didn't know, carbon dating works on the theory that every thing loses carbon the scame speed as it does now, which minght not be true. therefore, carbon dating is unreliable.

Although I would really cherish a picture of the dinosaurs on the Ark. You have some very logical thoughts here for me to consider.
I occasionally go over to Stephen Hawking Online lectures to see if He has discovered God yet. So I guess I am a "free-thinking" conservative Christian. Oh well maybe everybody is some sort of "seeker" even if they don't know it yet.
Peace be with you and thanks for the challenging post.

"... all of us could desire to die to be sin loose as consistent with Romans 6:7......." - If this have been real, the Yeshua died in ineffective, using fact - as quickly as all of us die - we "are loose from sin", suitable? incorrect. Sin is the blunders guy took after Adam's transgression. as quickly as the physique is burned, there exist no blunders. Deleted. that doesn't recommend WE DESERVE something, and if certainty learn, as Yeshua mentioned, we "are slaves sturdy for not something" that should die, using fact the only element that the regulation brings in, is dying. After Yeshua's resurrection (the 1st one), many have been 'replaced' in an on the spot at their dying, and that 'corruptible' grew to become into converted into incorruptible. they're now in an abode with Him interior the abode of His Father "the place there exist many Mansions" and that they'll contain Him "as in a cloud" while He returns along with his saints. people who He would not comprehend as "His sheep" could could desire to attend until eventually the Resurrection on the tip of the 1000 years, the place there'll be - for some - a Resurrection of life, and for others a Resurrection of Judgment. the area of those dependable to Him is the Universe, the Planets ("the stones of hearth" initially given to the religious creatures that throughout the time of a protracted time rebelled against God). issues will return to the situations existent on the very beginning, lower back, and he will Reign as a King lower back. btw, you do not could desire to be a JW to study the Scriptures and enable somebody assist you be responsive to what they recommend. this is there for all, be loose. study. learn, the certainty shall make you loose.

there are different forms of creation science.... intelligent design for example. have you ever heard that its been mathmatically proven that the probability of the big bang resulting in the universe we have today without a outside influence is the same as the probability of a hurricane blowing through a junk yard and producing an operating, fully functional and flying 747 jumbo jet
