can u plz stop telling me I am going to a fictional place for not having the same beliefs as you? It gets really old...Sry, the fear tactics don't work on me, I know kno1 knows what happens after death, quit pretending to know something you don't. The whole bible thing being the word of god is pretty lame too. If that is what 'god' based my entire knowledge of him off of when the most logical answer was tht it was written by a bunch of random people trying to gain control of people's minds, then I don't want to be around some1 who puts the eternal condition of my soul on a roll of the dice that decides wether I am paticularly gullable one day and on tht day some paticularly good brain-washer comes about and tells me to believe something found in a 2000 year old book, then I don't want to be around him after I die anyways. TY, now leave me alone.

I have died and been brought back. I can tell you that where I was heading was the most beautiful and peaceful place I could have ever imagined. I no longer fear death. I'm not rushing towards it but when it is my time, I will go happily and peacefully.

Too bad you don't believe in an afterlife.

Glad you are taking this serious. For one, not a thing to gamble with. Eternity is not something you toss around. It is a difference between burning up and living with God. Your choice. The BIble is true and you have to accept that. It has been proven over time to be the most reliable book ever written. No other religion has what the Bible has: The Power to heal, save people, deliver people, and more. You can know for sure that when you die, you will go to Heaven. It has nothing to do with chance or a roll of the dice. It has to do with the conditionof your heart and where you are at with God.
You can do good things, be a good man, life a good life, but it will never get you anywhere. It will never measure up to the standard that God has. That is why Christ came 2000 years ago so that you would know how to live as He lived and still lives.
This is all a decision you must make for yourself. It will determine how much blessing and life you will experience in this life and in the next life or death and cursing in this life and the life to come. Thanks again.
Interesting question.

Look Elmo,

If you are right then that means that 40 people, some from different Countries, many from totally different time periods, who somehow wrote about the same fact without error have passed the biggest hoax in history... you will go to the grave, lights out, nothing more.

But IF you are wrong... you DO face eternal torment. You will stand in front of an Almight, Holy God.

Whether or not you do or don't want to believe in God, the fact remains, there IS a Creator.

I would like to see someone go into the freeway and say they don't believe in trucks... shortly they will be a believer.

Is seeing believing? Well, then the next time you are on a road in the summer and see a mirage, I would like to see you run up and take a big drink out of that cool, pool of water.

That is fine that you don't want to be bothered anymore, it shows that your conscience is knocking at your hearts door. I mean, WHY R U in a RELIGION/SPIRITUALITY ROOM if you don't want to hear it.??
Your conscience is bearing witness to the law that is written on your heart and you have no controll over it. If someone was telling you about NATIVE SPIRITUALITY, I know you wouldn't have a problem with it!

But with Christianity, you are convicted because it is the TRUTH. Why is every religion accepted by the "world" except Christ?? Why? Because Jesus said it... the world hates Him and those who are His.

If you feel convicted, don't fight it with your pride. Go to Jesus Christ and find refuge and a payment for your sin.

Do you seriously think God or Christians don't care enough about you that you are willing to throw it all away?
IF we are wrong, we have nothing to lose. Why do we even try?
There is something inside you telling you the "truth" why don't you trust your own self?
You have a longing to know God. He put that into you, He wants you to know Him.
You are tired of the ratrace and KNOW there is more. Nothing can take the hidden darkness from you, only God.
Oh how much He cares for you.

The only ones who truly profit from the bible, are the different churches that take money, tax free mind you, and continue to create some of the biggest corporations known to man. Has any of you even been to the vatican? That place is crazy, with the security and its own army. Maybe because they truly are guarding all the gold they have taken over the centuries. And about the bible, it is a fact that many historians and experts agree that the versions of the bible are missing volumes of text. Maybe thats because if all of it was in there, you would realize that there truly is no god, and that the bible was nothing more than the first Tony Robbins self help book. Read one of his books, if promises all kinds of things, just like the bible. Seriously though, compare tony robbins and the bible, very scary stuff. If you ever heard of NLP, neurolinguistic programming, the theory behind NLP is very effectively used by tony robbins and the bible. Hmmm, coincidence, i think not. I'm lucky.

Are you actually expecting to accomplish anything by asking this question? You're not gonna change anyone's opinions just by having some random little uneducated rant. If you want to make any progress, I suggest you do some research on the topic, and form an educated opinion, one way or the other, and be able to defend it with proof, rather than just spouting off your annoyances as if they allow you to know what's right more than anyone else does.

Often heard complaints about users of Yahoo!Answers that Christians are forcing things down their throats, and condemning them and now they are harassers. Wonder how they actually do that? Or are they just answering your questions based on their beliefs? If have choice not to read it but you do. If have a choice not to get affected by the answers but you do. Remember the answerers have the same choices as you.

Okay, other than showing ignorance and intolerance, what is the question? You're kind enough to tell us you have little education in the nature of the Bible. Fair enough. You've already made up your mind. Usually a sad position.
That is you and you have the right to be you.
Hooray.
A Christian is a Christian and has a similar right to be him or herself. That self is desirous of you moving out of a negatory position.
Hooray.
Your right - their right; one and the same.

sometimes, there are those really really irritating ones that bug you like they've all the time in the world. but what's your purpose of asking this question anyway? to get all the anti-Christians to flame Christianity? i want them to leave me alone too, but the fact sadly, the world just doesnt consist of you and me. so stop flaming them. tolerate the diversity.

I don't know where your question is in that rant. I do believe that if you don't like what you hear in here, why are you here? If you don't want to hear what religious people have to say, why are you in the religion and spirituality category. I wouldn't go to a site for individuals that are homosexual if I didn't want to listen to what they have to say. You have the choice not to come here. We also have the right to come in here and voice our opinions and answer valid questions about religion. Sorry if that upsets you.
