Yes, it is alright. It is your deed, not the rule that matters. Imagine you are in a third world country, where family or strangers sleep together under one roof, you think it is not alright.
Pray for your heart and mind not be prey of your temptations. For as long as your conscious is clear, you have nothing to worry about.

I don't see no harm in it. As long as you're not tempted to do ne thing with him/her. But I do agree with the others, pray and find out if it is what God wants. I have done it, but with a clear conscience. We were just friends. So I guess it's your call. Just be smart and not hormonal.
