I guess you're entitled to an opinion. I think there are too many atheists.

Christianity started to "take the world by storm" after Jesus came back from the dead. But then about 800-1200 years later, Islam decided to do the same & kicked the christians out of the middle east & northern africa. Thus Christianity became isolated in Western (read:european) thought/life. & Islam became pop in the Middle East & Africa.
Trouble now is, people think they're "Chtistian" just cuz they're of European/American decent, instead of what Jesus said. So there really aren't many Christians, just a bunch of people who don't know they aren't ;)

There actually aren't that many Christians. While it is true that they are the largest religous denomination, only about 30% of the worlds inhabitants are Christians. In fact, if you combine Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism, you already have more people that belong to those religions than do to Christianity.

"Most people?" Well in the Western World, yeah... but there is not a religion that even comes close to having "most people" as followers. Christianity has over two billion, which means it has the most people of any religion, but by no means not most of the population. Islam is a very close second.

Most people aren't christians. Christians only make up about 20% of the world's population.

what an odd statement to make - two of the world's most populated countries India and China are not Christian (although there is a sizable minority of Christians in India) add in the Middle East, Lavant, much of Africa, Japan the former Soviet countires and i think we are banking up quite a big proportion of non-christians

Most people are NOT Christians, even in America. I'm not exactly sure what the statistics are, but it's only around 50% in America claim to attend church regularly (which doesn't necessarily make one a Christian), or to believe in the Christian faith.

How so? Anyway, Christianity is alot of things. Assurance, blessing, and a whole bunch of stuff. Not only eternal insurance, but the most real relationship you ill ever have with God.

You are misinformed. Most people are NOT Christian.

By the way, there's no contest to see who can have the most members on its religious "team."

So...who the hell cares whether you think there are too many or not enough Christians?

Where? I believe that Christians are a minority religion group in this planet.
