Please be serious, no smartasses need answer. Yes this is a Breed. It got reconized by The Kennel Club U.K. with an affix. 15 years ago! I'm only looking for estimates not fortune tellers.

The purchase price was one hundred dollars from a sponsired Golden Retriever breeder. The purpose of the litter to provide a very agile, powerful search dog. Not to trick people, but to provide a canine with certian characteristics that compliment each other. Vet checked for health and certified. Also sponsered by major pet company Purinia.

What is the cross? Collie/golden or lab retriever?
Sorry but a designer breed just the same. Why do you want to know who owns one? Do you have problems or just want to meet up and share?
I am sorry but you will probably find little on your breed as it is not recognized, you are just one in the millions of people that were duped into paying mega for a designer breed, yet again.
If you have problems, go back to the breeder, if they cannot help, then dob them in. A good breeder will answer all and every question you have, you would not need to be on the internet to seek any advise.
The weight, sorry but with a designer breed that is one of the unpredictable characteristics of purchasing a CROSS breed.
If you want to meet up with more of the same, then again go back to the breeder and get the contact details of those she sold the rest of the litter to because it may be the one and only.

Hi there, it is a crossbreed and as such you will not be able to say how it will turn out. The Kennel Club in the UK do not recognised this crossbreed and do not intend to recognise it in the forseeable futue - they do not breed true. It can however, like any other dog pure or crossbred, be registered on the activities register. An affix is just a kennel name, any dog can be given a kennel name.
Labs and golden retrievers will grow to a max of 24inches at the withers, Border Collies grow to roughly 21inches max. I would expect your dog to be about 22inches at the withers when fully grown, give or take a bit.

I've never heard about them before, but I found this info doing a Google search on the Coltriever.
What is a Coltriever?
A Coltriever is a mix breed dog. It is half Golden Retriever and half Border Collie. Mostly black but some are golden. They get fairly big and eat alot.
They are very intellegant , but do need alot of motivation and training. They are very loyal and will protect willingly for their master. Needs alot of attention and affection at young ages.
Now they sheed alot, and I mean alot, but that is if they rub againest you and it has to be during shedding season, the rest of the season is minumal shedding.
Coltrievers are very fast and require alot of exercise or they will get lazy and could develop poorly. They can be aggresive if you don't show them from day one that you are the boss!
They are great companions and loving dogs.
I think the UK is the only place where they are a recognized breed though. Very nice looking dogs btw, and considering the fact that your pup is only 3 mo old and is already 30 lbs, I'm guessing he's going to take after the golden's size and be close to 65 - 70 lbs.

Basic Training of the Puppy - Read here https://tr.im/am6Cw
The new puppy is certainly one of the most adorable and cuddly creatures that has ever been created. It is the most natural thing in the world to shower it with love and affection. However, at the same time it is important to realize that if you want to have a well trained adult dog, you need to begin the training process right away. The dog, like its related ancestor, the wolf, is a pack animal. One of the features of a pack is that it has a single dominant leader. Your new puppy is going to want that leader to be you, but if you do not assume that role from the very beginning, the puppy’s instincts will push him to become the leader.
The most important thing to remember about training the puppy during its first six months of life is that it must see you as the leader of the family pack. The essential thing is gaining the trust and the respect of the puppy from the beginning. You will not do this by allowing the puppy to do whatever it wants to do whenever it wants to do it. On the other hand, a certain amount of patience is required. Most people err in their early training by going to extremes one way or the other. Although you need to begin the basic training process at once, you can not expect your dog to do too much at first. Basic obedience training is fine and should include simple commands like sit, stay, and come. Remember that trying to teach the dog advanced obedience techniques when it is a puppy is much like trying to teach a five year old child algebra.
It is also important to restrain from cruel or abusive treatment of the puppy. You can not beat obedience into your dog, and it certainly is not going to engender feeling of respect and trust. House breaking is an area where this usually becomes a problem because of the anger that is triggered when the puppy fails and creates a mess inside the home. Although this issue must be addressed without anger, it most be addressed. If you allow the puppy to eliminate inside the house, it will continue to do so as an adult dog. The same thing is true of other destructive or dangerous behavior such as chewing and biting. Do not expect the puppy to grow out of it. You are going to need to train the puppy out of it, but you should do so firmly but with a sense of play and fun using positive reinforcement and lots of love and praise for good behavior.

well the Coltriever is what is being referred to as a "designer dog" they are a cross breed a7 not recognized by the AKC, basicaly the are a mutt, a cross between a Border Collie & a Golden Retiever...as w all crosses you really cant predict what they will look like or what size they will reach depends on which parent the puppy takes most after,,,you could end up w one anywhere from 45 pounds to 70 pounds depends on the size of the parents and which genes were stronger...BEST OF LUCK

I was lucky enough to come across this breed at a border collie rescue. If this isn't a real breed, it should be. I also have a retriever mix and a AKC border collie, also from rescues. My Coltriever is loving, smart and a perfect dog. He is about 60 pounds of joy.

They appear to be about golden retriever size, which varies.(Weight for dogs 65-75 pounds; bitches 55-65 pounds. ) .some will appear more as a collie, and others as a retriever, so the breed isn't standardized yet.. that takes about 7 generations of breeding after the foundation stock book is closed.. > http://www.coltriever.org/
