1]] Try rolling him into a different possition.
2]] I read in an article that tonsils may play a part in this. If his tonsils are a little larger than the average persons then this may cause snoring.
3]] Drop him a hint and get him some Anti Snoring thingies to sleep with on.

a snore is a sign of an upper airway or nasal obstruction, so you need to find out the sight of obstruction. is the snore coming completely from a nasal obstruction, or is it an upper airway obstruction. have an overnight oximetry done to find out if your oxygen saturations are dropping. if there is a sawtoothing pattern in your oxygen sats, further investigation should be done, like a formal sleep study. investigate sleep disorders at the american academy of sleep medicine, or the association of polysomnographic technologists website.

When he is snoring dip his hand into a bowl of luke warm water. Obviously you want to be careful not to wake him. Keep his hand in the water until an unexpected surprise occurs.

snoring respirations are caused from a compromised airway. If it is not sleep apnea, try the cpr move, head tilt-chin lift. it will open the airway, I use it on my husband.
