Somebody keep calling me and leaving voicemails saying the f word?

Somebody (I don't know who) keep calling me and leaving voicemails that say the f word every other word. Although it might sound childish, but I'm hurt and offended. The first time they called, I listened to the voicemail, called them back, and told them not to call me a again. That was maby 2 or 3 days ago. Tonight they called me from a different number and left me another voicemail say the f word more times. I don't know what to do. Should I call them again? Just delete it and forget about it? Go to my carrier and complain? Please help.

Obviously whoever it is is trying to upset you. If you keep calling them back whoever it is will know they have accomplished what they set out to do. That's why they have called you back again. So, whatever you do...DON'T CALL THEM BACK ANYMORE. Take the fun out of this for them and ignore them. Next, obviously you know where these phone numbers are coming from, caller ID? Write down the phone numbers and the time the calls come in. Go down to your local police department and make a report for harassing phone calls. Take the phone numbers with you. The police can easily trace these phone numbers for you, whether they will do that for you or not I don't know. The police may do their own investigation if this person has threatened you in some way. However, if the calls have just been fowl language, what they will do is take the information and give you a report number to give to your phone company so they can help you track incoming calls to your phone for the next month. During those 30 days, whenever you get a call from that person, write down the date and time the call came in and keep a list of those calls until the end of the month.

Don't tell the person calling that you are tracing their calls in an effort to get them to stop. You shouldn't assume that it is someone you know that is trying to hurt your feelings. It may be someone you don't know, and by telling them what you are doing they might stop calling you for a few weeks and you would hurt your investigation.

At the end of the month, call your phone company and ask them how they want you to proceed, Should you give the list of calls to the police dept. or directly to them, etc. And let the police dept. know what transpired during the thirty days.

There are sick people out there. Be aware of your surroundings when you go out, when you're walking outside, when you're getting in your car, when you're walking into an area without much lighting. Park in well lit area's. Drive different ways from work to home, be predictably unpredictable. Stay safe. You should always behave like this, not just when someone hightens your awareness. That's harassment love and it is obviously upsetting you
Do you have any idea who it could be as in cases like this you will usually now the person
these people are trying to scare you and intimidate you do not let them its there phone bill they are wasting report them and put them on ignore and try to put it behind you

Call them back at odd hours and flush the toilet or see if u can reverse address their phone number to find out where they live or change your number.

stop calling them back, erase the voicemails and if possible in your area, block the number they have called from

Call them again and tell them you will report this to the police-this is harassment-then follow through if they continue.

Change your setting to ignore anyone not on my friend list. Report the caller.
