he was swinging and he chopped too hard and he broke the driver head off and it was still stuck in the shaft lol

You can take it to a golf shop to see if it's worth repairing.

Yeah, if you go to a place that makes custom golf clubs, you can by a new shaft ($10-$100 that I've seen) and they will replace if for you for a fee.

He is not totally shafted. If it is a good driver over $200 he can get it reshafted through most any golf club of golf retail store.

i dont think he chopped down too hard, i reckon he hit a bad shot and hit the club on the ground :))
