Of course single women can adopt children. Espcially since about 50% of families now a days are only 1 parent. Adoption agencies look at if you are stable, mentally and financially and if you are able to take care of a child. They do extensive back ground checks and they check a lot of references.

It's not a good idea although single men and women are adopting children. You are still young, find a man, get married then adopt and rear your child in a loving couples' home. The child will grow up much healthier with both a loving father and mother around.

Yes, single people CAN adopt. Rules vary from state to state, but public adoption agencies can not show bias against single parents... Just as long as you can demonstrate that you can adequately support the child, you should be fine.

yes you can. I was adopted by a single woman, She ended up being more than just my mother but my best friend. If you can give a child a better life you should do it!

I guess you'll know if you look into it. Probably hard to do though, which is stupid. I think if you're responsible and can offer a child help and a better life, then they should let people. But the system is so screwy, right?
