He is obviously a manipulator,do yourself a favor and dump this person, your only looking for more heartache if you keep seeing him. If he is cheating already what do you think he will do when you get married, if you get married. He is not trustworthy.

If he proposed he ovbiously wants to spend his life with you but maybe he is unsure about RIGHT NOW you know? From personal experience I would not put up with the cheating because thats utter crap and if he was really happy then he wouldn't have cheated. It was nothing you did, it was him that screwed up!! No one can tell you what to do, just follow your heart but if you stay with him it will always be in the back of your mind that he DID cheat on you...maybe only once but still he did it and he can't take it back, no matter how much he apologizes and cries and begs. In the end just follow your heart, that's all you can do!!! Good Luck

He was insecure. He must have had multiple partners before. He proposed to you. He must have really thought you were his best mate. But after his proposal, he still wanted others for a "last fling".
You do have the right to kick him out of your life. He deserves it. He does not deserve you.
But we all make mistakes. If you believe that he has learned his lesson and will be faithful for the rest of his life, forgive him. I might become a better person because of this.

Never forgive a cheater. No matter how safe they may think they're being (if they even bother trying to be) a cheater is putting their spouse at risk.
Should a person risk catching an STD because their partner cant' keep his pants on?
Don't question why he cheated, why is not important. What is important is that he did. Get rid of him.

It goes both ways - I had a girl cheat on me two weeks after I gave her an engagement ring. People do strange things for strange reasons.
