this is exactly why a mass deportation would NOT WORK.....

Businesses would fall due to lack of staff members, apartments would not be rented, fruits would rot, restaurants would most likely shut down, and many other things would just not work...

Rent is around $500-700, many undocumented workers live in apartments.... I guess we could give a few apartments to the free-loading homeless ppl...

People need to think of this economy and its effects it will have if we consider mass deportation...

If the illegals didn't rent them they'd probably be torn down cause I don't think any one else would rent in those. I drive by these disgusting apartments every day on the way to work. I can't believe they are left standing. I can't believe the health department hasn't torn them down and that they actually pass inspection. There are little kids living there I feel so bad for them. And I wonder if the people living there (that obviously came from Mexico) have took a step up or down to live there. And the ones who are really suffering are the innocent children.

That would not pose any problem. Now that the upsurge of real estate had nearly waned, many will consider renting apartments as an alternative. You are so hilarious in a sense that the world is running empty. Undocumented immigrants will come back, with documents this time, if that will drench your insecurities.....

then why talk about problems renting out apartments when they are gone...if they dont leave...are you simply contradicting yourself...question...

I know of 2 million Homeless Americans, 8 million Legal Immigrants waiting to get into the country, and that's just today's estimate. The numbers will grow, the apartments won't stand empty for long.

Currently, many areas are seeing too much growth. Many are overpopulated. I doubt they'll have problems finding people to take the apartments off their hands.

And the word you are trying to use is WITH the H is at the end.

There will definitely be real estate market effect, but there are those who will now be able to afford homes, who couldn't, as well.

Also, on apartments, how many people do you think landlords want to have in an apartment? How many landlords will consider themselves better off by being able to screen for that in advance, as opposed to those who will lose good tenants?

I know there are both kinds within the group of illegal renters, but it is not ALL going to be a detriment for landlords.

oh I am sure after they get cleaned back up they will rent quite quickly!

Oh and I know that they rent apartments. A good friend of mine runs a complex in Nashville TN and had one of her buildings burnt to the ground because of illegals throwing a big party. One of the wonderful tenets left their lite cigarette on the table while he passed out drunk. 8 other LEGAL families lost EVERYTHING!

I used to rent apartments in Oklahoma City and once they moved out it cost a fortune to fix them back to rerent but I did as soon as they were ready, and not to illegals either. They paid well, but way to many live in them. Once it was empty I wasn't allowed to rent that apartment to illegals again.

2. more jobs avalible, institute " work-fair programs nation wide.
