Assalamoalakum. You are right. And I have come to understand this lately more than ever. A kind word turns away wrath. That is an old saying. I have gotten angry at some of the questions in this forum directed toward Muslims at times, because they are so incorrect, and meant to provoke us. Lately, though, I am in a state of peace, alhumdulillah. I realize we are here for a reason. We're on this forum to be representatives of our faith to those that hate us, and how better to prove that we are a loving people than to be kind? It is also credit for Muslims to answer and try to help people of other religions understand about Islam. You never know how you could affect someone. At the very least, we will lessen the stigma attatched to Islam, and let them see that Muslims don't hate them. Hopefully that will open more doors of understanding. Yes, you do need to be patient. May Allah bless you.

It is true. It is not the problem between Christian and Muslim religion. It is the interest of the followers.
The Middle Eastern countries are blessed with oil. But only a very few are benefited from it. The ruling Monarchs and their followers. The vast majority of the people do not get any benefit. And these Monarchs and followers, who are as corrupt as anyone, are supported by US and Europeans. Namely Christians for getting a cheap and uninterrupted supply of oil and gas.
The mullahs, who are also acting for the Monarchs in a way, are making peoples believe that Christians are responsible for this. Israel’s activities and Christian world’s unconditional support to Israel is helping them too. And at the end, people are joining extremist groups fighting Christians when they should fight their rulers for democracy in their own country. And take control of their mineral resources among themselves.
As we see, it is only the economic, political, and strategic interest of the followers are making them enemies. The actual religion has nothing to do with the conflict. In reality, they are very similar.

Sura 4 was revealed in Medina over a period of three years (AD 625-627). At this point some Muslims have not immigrated to Medina when the invitation had been given. A group of them, called the hypocrites, had embraced Islam with reservations. Sometimes they supported Muhammad from a geographical and religious distance, for example in saying prayers the Muslim way. At other times, they seemed to help the enemies of Islam (see Abul A’La Maududi, The Meaning of the Quran, vol. 1, pp. 361-62, notes 116-117).
In Sura 4:88-89 Allah tells the prophet how to deal with these particular hypocrites.
4:88-89 Then what is the matter with you that you are divided into two parties about the hypocrites? Allah has cast them back (to disbelief) because of what they have earned. Do you want to guide him whom Allah has made go astray? And he whom Allah has made to go astray, you will never find for him any way (of guidance) 89 They wish that you reject (Faith), and thus that you all become equal (like one another). So, take not Auliya (protectors or friends) from them, till they emigrate in the way of Allah (to Muhammad). But if they turn back (from Islam), take (hold of) them and kill [q-t-l] them wherever you find them . . . . (Al-Hilali and Khan, parenthetical insertions are theirs; mine in brackets)
We should note two facts from these verses. First, Allah himself made the hypocrites go astray, yet he orders them killed. Second, the Arabic verb qatala is used (root is q-t-l), and this word means exclusively to fight, kill, war, battle, or slaughter.
You don't find this in the Bible.

I have been given this from the Quran. To me this does not sound too very reminiscent of "Love thy neighbor as thyself." 4:89 "They long that ye might desire to disbelieve on a similar time as they disbelieve, that ye could be upon a point (with them). So pick not friends from them until at last they forsake their residences interior the way of Allah; in the event that they turn back (to enmity) then take them and kill them everywhere ye discover them, and choose no chum nor helper from between them," listed decrease than are a pair different heat fuzzy verses i found too interior the Quran.... 4:fifty six "Lo! people who disbelieve Our revelations, we will divulge them to the hearth. As frequently as their skins are ate up we will replace them for clean skins that they might style the torment. Lo! Allah is ever amazing, smart." 40-one:27 "yet verily we will reason people who disbelieve to style an awful doom...." 40-one:28 "it is the reward of Allah's enemies: the hearth. Therein is their immortal domicile, charge forasmuch as they denied Our revelations." thank you, yet no thank you, i will persist with Christianity.

I feel sorry for the majority of the peacful islamists. Terrorism carried out by radical extremists shouldnt have any link or correlation to islam. Its like linking christianity with white supremacy..........., white supremesists claim to derive their agenda from the bible. Were talking about criminals in both cases.
