Depending on the location of your tendinitis... I had a severe case of tendinitis in both elbows... It went on for several years and I was told the only solution was surgery... I joined the local College for two semesters and cured the problem.
I used light weights to strengthen my surrounding ligaments and tendons by using the weights in ways that did not injure the sore tendons. Use care when lifting ordinary things so as not to irritate the tendons..After six months I was able to lift and carry whatever was necessary to function at home or work...That was fifteen years ago....I am still pain free...

Massage can help can only help increase circulation and possibly rid the excess of uric acids that cause the aches... however, you can also give the affected area rest and go to a natural food shop and buy MSM (all natural, no side effects) which is a natural anti-inflammation supplement. Great for arthritis inflammation and even hemorrhoids, too! Hey, don't laugh; those that have gone through childbirth know what I'm talking about! It may take about 3 weeks for you to feel the full effect... but, if you start taking two capsules in the morning, two in the afternoon and two in the evening (after a meal) and with plenty of water (your body will rid itself of much of this since it does not dissolve easily in your system) but it is all-natural. Go to a nutritional shop, vitamin shop or a natural food store and ask the person in charge for more details. This does not interfere with any medications... I use it for my arthritis and it works (I've have "bad" days when it is extremely humid but I do not use pain killers of any kind because those surely have side effects that are more dangerous than the painful symptons I live with).
