When you have any ind of infection anywhere, the infection is in your blood, and you're more prone to infection in other places too. If you remove a decayed tooth, there's tons of bacteria in the crevice afterwards, and they give you antiviral/antibacterial stuff, but sometimes that doesn't kill all the viruses or bacteria. So.... don't remove a decayed tooth if you're sick. This includes infections on cuts and scrapes, as well as colds and flues.
