I slipped in it the other day. I have a big, painful bruise where i landed ,full weight, on one knee. The woman didn't even try to help me up,ask if I was ok, or anything. She lies and says the neighbors dog does it, and we all know it is her son. She has 2 other kids and a baby that has CP, and the way she treats the baby and plops her around is appalling. I was visiting her and I watched, horrified,as he pulled his underwear off, & peed. She did yell at him,and cleaned it up. I had reported her to the office,as if I have to pay my rent, and follow the rules,so does she. He had peed again. I was visiting her,I slipped in it,and fell. The next morning,I went to the office to report her. She got a warning, and she yelled at me, in front of the office manager in our parking lot.The manager got mad at her,and now the apts. thinks I am a trouble maker. Am I? The woman is young (26) and an alcoholic, and she had almost no friends. I felt sorry for her which is why i befriended her.

Since you started the ball rolling, so to speak, by going to the Office about this, you will have to keep dealing with it. Some parents will not think that their child (children) does (do) ANYTHING wrong-!! I have seen this myself a few times. I guess you can't deal with the woman herself. Befriending someone is very nice of you, but it is useless unless she wants help and if she honestly wants to change! I would go the Office once more if it happens again. Other than that, I would contact the actual owner(s) of the entire building, if that is possible, or perhaps even your local Board of Health - at you city hall, since excessive urine can be a real HEALTH problem for everyone in the building-!! It is a shame how one bad tenant can ruin a nice place-!!

If what you say is true, then you did nothing wrong. If it was a one time thing, I think the easiest thing is to let it go an move on with life. If it continues, get some evidence that these kinds of things are happening, and back up your evidence with the support of other neighbors if you can. Your landlord has a responsibility to address the issue if there is a health, safety or quality of life concern. If there is no resolution, you may have to move. A difficult landlord and a crazy neighbor don't make for a great living situation anyway.

Sounds like the woman has way too much on her hands. No you are not a trouble maker. But she sounds like she needs some parenting help. 4 kids at that age and one with a disability? does she have any help? maybe offer to see if there is any support available to her. sounds like she is overwhelmed.

Too bad for her! She should either teach her kid to pee in the correct place or strap on a diaper. If the people in the building think you're causing trouble then they have some problems. They think it's ok for him to pee where he wants? You had every right to complain...that's unsanitary.

Perhaps you could set up some sort of electrified flooring in the hallway. That'll learn 'im.

I think filming it would get arrested... so don't do that.. I don't know, let the kid pee. I am 25 and I still do it in public when no one is looking...

when you see the kid doing it, point at him and make fun of him -- humiliate him. "ha ha i see your pee-pee ha ha ha ha ha"
If he gets embarrassed enough, he will quit doing it.
