I have a bad feeling about my brother's friend, but my brother is so into him it's hard to even think about approaching the topic with my bro. what should i do. i think the guy is a gold digger and exerts too much influence on my bro's life. my bro is older than i am, and still sees me as his lil sis (that helps!) He seems completely sold on the guy and believes whatever crap he tells him to believe and do. he trusts him a lot a lot, i don't know why...what should i do?

There are wise things to do even if you like someone, like always read what you sign, don't lend money without a contract, etc. Help your brother to see that he needs to maintain legal separation.
Maybe your brother isn't the person you thought he was, that he likes this guy. He'll probably get burned, but maybe he'll learn from it. If he takes care of things legally, maybe he will not get burned as badly.

the best advice i can give you is this.
be there for your brother. watch his back but keep your silence. the more you try to turn him against his lover/friend the more that he will protect him and take up for him.
remember how it feels to be in love? love is blind. and its up to us to open our own eyes and see the hard cold truth when we are ready. sometimes thats a hard lesson learned and we have to learn the hard way because we didnt listen to our little sisters or our friends when they tried to warn us.
just be nice to the guy until your brother sees the truth for himself. and beleive me, he will see eventually see the truth. just make sure that when he does learn the truth, you are there to listen to him, and comfort his blow like a real sister, and leave out the part where you want to say "i told you so" or "i tried to tell you but you wouldnt listen" dont do that, just listen and be supportive of his healing process.
on the other hand, if in time you learn that you may have been wrong about the guy and he truly isnt as bad as you originally thought then you will have caused no unfixable damage and your brother will not have to forgive you for digging in his personal life. just remember to use "tact" in all situations with this and you will be the better for it. your brother will be fine if he has you caring and there as a friend by his side. dont worry, and good luck.
