Your so-called question amounts to three parts, Islam doesn't discriminate, those who say it does are wrong, Christians did discriminate. First, it's not a question. Second, is your conscience bothering you? Are you having doubts about the faith you adopted or were born into? Visions of the World Trade towers being blown up and thousands of innocent people murdered in the name of your religion unsettle you? If not, where is your humanity? Why protest against those who call Islam terrorist? It's the terrorists who do so. Or were you asleep when millions (literally millions) of Muslims around the world protested a stupid cartoon no one ever would have noticed otherwise?

The Christian response to slavery was ignorant, wrong, and also very localized to certain denominations.
Isn't the same thing going on right now in the Sudan, with Muslims raiding non-Muslim villiages and holding slaves for ransom?
Unlike Jesus, or Budda, or Moses, Mohammed turned to raiding caravans and Jewish settlements for the support of his followers in Medina soon after the Hegira; violence for profit. It seems to be that the religion has a warlike tone as part of it's official doctrine from very near the start.
If the global Muslim community would publicly condem terror done in the name of Islam instead of rioting in the streets of European countries that host them over a cartoon, there would be a much different attitude towards them.

If it wasn't for Christians in this country than the blacks would still be slaves. Check your history. Oh, I forgot. The history books in public school have deleted all the Christian history in all the text books. Remember, we must be tolerant and politically correct. We wouldn't want to offend anyone, right? Christianity is conviction and conformity to the truth. Tolerance has no such convictions.

I am a Christian and I do not think Islam is Evil. On the contrary I believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But by your own question you are pointing your fingers at Christians, because you did not say, " For those that think Islam is Evil." Instead you chose to slam on Christians instead. I hope your God does not have the phrase about bearing false witness like our Bible has. I will be praying for you. Take care.

they're misinform and lost and following a fake prophet. Love them, pray for them and be variety to them yet dont condone or connect in on any of their incorrect help for violence or hate for Isreal or the U. S. or on all people who doesnt have faith in Islam in the event that they ensue to show it to you. so a techniques as being evil, i think Islam is evil on the grounds this is a lie set up by making use of devil. yet even the Muslims can come to be responsive to the certainty and be saved so be comfortable to them and provide them the certainty of the be responsive to God.

Why don't we just get to the heart of the matter! Jesus said that "unless you believe that I am he you will die in your sins" The Lord Himself said that if any one delivers to you a Gospel that is other than the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be cursed and if any one receives a Gospel other than that of the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be cursed also. Islam refuses to believe that Jesus Christ was God himself in the flesh. Jesus made the truth very clear in John Ch.3 V18 Where he said "He that believeth on him is not condemned but he that believeth not is condemned already" The only one who ever had the power over life and death was Christ himself and all these so called prophets and Gods are where today??They are all dead so where is their power?? Don't you know that you stand condemned before the Lord??

A "cleric" in the Islamic Cleric garb on television (CNN; Fox News) said as much in a prepared taped statement. What else are we to believe?
I watched it myself and heard him say; convert or you will pay the price in this life and the next.
If I only once saw someone step up for Islam and said in a public forum that the religion is tolerant of others and can co-exist with non-muslim religions I would like nothing better. But I do not see it. Why?

Are you sure they are Christians? I've noticed that a lot of atheists out there will bash anybody who has a religion. I have a friend who is Muslim and she's not evil at all.

I know you addressed this to bigots, but I wanna send a high-five anyway. Extremists aren't in it for the religious aspect of it, they have their own agenda, just like the slave owners. These people are the infidels.... terrorists as well as slave owners. I'm tired of the trash talk too, it gets so frustrating. People are missing out on so much when they wrap their minds in thick clay.
Salam!
