I want to redo my bathroom in a medieval style. I have found some great acessories but I am stuck on a shower curtain....I have searched and searched but nothing looks just right. Does anyone know where I could get a shower curtain that looks like it would fit into that "style" I could even bend a little towards Celtic....thanks

medieval? bathroom? oxymoron?
Perhaps a coarse linen treated with waterproof and a few thistles pinned on it-or a folding set of shields-

I am an Interior designer, may I suggest you use a plain clear shower curtain.

When it comes to creating a "theme" in any room or space, people often tend to assume that everything MUST reflect the theme.

All it takes are a few elements added from that theme by using colours, textures & shapes of objects & things from that theme or theme period to give that room a hole new feel.

It sounds to me as though you have added almost just enough accent, if you try too hard by adding "too many" medieval things it could start to look a little tacky.

Keep it simple & classy & you will love it.

Good luck!! If any further questions email me at - janien@yahoo.com.au

Instead of looking for shower curtains, try going to a fabric store and finding a fabric you fall in love with. Then you can easily sew or have someone else sew for you a curtain that just hits the spot of the look you are going for.
Or, look into regular curtains, I just did that in my larger bathroom. They are longer which incased the whole opening instead of having that huge gap at the top. then just have a clear plastic liner curtain underneath.
Sounds interesting.
Good luck!

Tuesday Morning is a wonderful store.
And party stores like didums might have designs on costumes you could trace onto a shower curtain especially now just before Halloween
