ok, i kno some people mite not understand, but when ur in a quarrel with a family member (most likely ur sibling) u HATE it when they say something insulting and then go 'I CANT HEAR YOUUUUUUU' when you try to say something back. its REALLY annoying.
so if anybody has anything i cud say back to him? something witty and intelligent that wud make him regret saying that?

Say "OK well then you didn't hear me say that I'd give you $20. Oh well too late now!" And if he runs crying to mommy, just tell your mom that he must me hearing things--you NEVER said you'd give him $20! ():-)

The best way to handle this is to let it go. Say nothing. Then when he wants something or needs something from you, you can look at him and say... huh, what'd ya say? I couldn't hear ya! Keep repeating this and it will annoy him the same as it does you. Don't worry, when you guys get out on your own and in the big world you will be the best of friends.

They heard you the first time but that's his way of having a comeback,and sounds like it's working for him,try just leaving it at that.Don't react when he says that,soon he'll be looking for something else to say to get your goat.

When he is calm let him know that it is annoying you and that you really are intrested in what he says and hopes that he would be interested in what you have to say also. Now if he is really really young, let him know with your parents help that the rudness is not nice

Nothing work better than make believe to someone that you are not listening. This person knows that you get mad when they said that, just make believe that you are not there, and you will see the difference.

Move your lips but don't make a sound. Then he won't hear you for real. It will drive him nuts trying to figure out what you're saying.

my brother does the same to me!! ITS SOOO ANNOYING! so guess what? i ignored him the rest of the week. the only reason he does something like that is to get attention. if hes not getting attention he will stop.

laugh at him and walk away. the next time he asks u for something, tell him 'i can't hear youuuuuuu'.

It's simple. Refuse to talk to him unless he shows you respect. It a waste of time to talk to angry people. Just say, I'll listen when you calm down. If the persists in his behavior, just don't talk to him. He needs you more than you need him.

he just wants attetion any way he can get it! just ingnore him for a while no matter how hard it may be cuz hes sooo annoying but he'll leave u anlone once he relises he's not getting any attention!
