Bruce Lee one of the greatest Martial Artist of all time, would not even be a good fight to watch because it would be over so fast. UFC fighters would have no chance against someone like Bruce Lee.

Okay bozos who just blurted out BRUCE LEE, let's look at this from a logical viewpoint.

Bruce Lee- height: 5'7"/170cms (probably shorter)
weight: 60kg/130 lbs

Tank Abbot- height: 6'0"/183cms
weight: 113kg/250 lbs

Bruce Lee's weapons were mainly his famed one inch punch and his powerful sidekicks. He had never fought a wrestler/grappler and would be lost if someone was to tackle him to the ground and pound his petite body and face. His powerful sidekicks would do great damage if they connected. A sidekick is extremely easy to evade and counter for a seasoned mma fighter. Bruce lee's wing chun is a hopeless martial art that requires the opponent to throw punches that linger so they can be countered, the boxing punches that any decent boxer throws do not linger but snap back regardless of size. Bruce Lee did well in movies and street fights because of space and utilisation of props with in it. The UFC cage limits this greatly.

On the speed side undoubtedly Bruce is king but if Tank could close the distance without Bruce getting a clean strike or two Tank would utilise his awesome wrestling/grappling skills to easily overpower Bruce to the ground where his is totally out of his element. Abbots weight alone on top of Bruce would greatly fatigue and crush the oxygen out of him. Bruce would know nothing of ground work and Abbot would pound him to death.

Regardless of Bruce's awesome power Tank has faced huge much more powerful world class strikers than Bruce and has showed a strong chin.

If Bruce could keep running away and evading Tanks shoots he could possibly fatigue Tank. I don't think Bruce would know anything about sprawling though.

Seeing Bruce is dead and Tank is old and unfit this fight will not happen.

If it were to though let's put them both in peak condition(Tank hung with the best UFC had to offer back in the day).

I'll give a slight favour to Tank. Tank 60% Bruce 40%.

Thanks for the ten points.

To person above me, have you actually studied jeet kune do? He clearly explains he has studied ground tactics, largely displayed on his film which he wished to express what JKD was to the world, "Game Of Death" against Kareem Abdul-Jabbar clearly displaying that a major disadvantage requires a change in your fighting technique, on the spot. Also displayed in "Return Of The Dragon" vs. Chuck Norris when his first attempt to best Norris was faulted, then won when he adapted to his opponent.

Sure you can say "oh thats jus the movies", but that was one of Lee's outlets to display his skill and art to the masses, he introduced that into all his movies.

Tank lasts in a fight for a good 30 seconds, then he gets winded to all hell after throwing like 3-4 heymakers. Those punches land, sure he can knock someone out good. Tank isnt exactly the brightest bulb in the set. Lee was rather intelligent, he is fast, can play keep away from the fat boy till he is worn down. Tank barely even took training seriously till it was too late (too old). Tank had the ability to best a good fighter based on his luck to land his big punches.. his record in UFC is about 50% win/loss. With some impressive victories under his belt.

Lee worked out and trained as a lifestyle. Something Tank never did, or he wouldnt have been so damn out of shape. Also Lee has trained some of the most successful fighters in the world, had he lived longer that example wouldve continued to remain true.

Concluding this, Lee's style wasnt just about Lee's style, it was about using what is good, discarding what is useless, and essentually creating what is your own. What works for Lee dont work for all, and thats a very true statement. If we compare Lee at his greatest to Tank at his greatest, its really incomparable. Lee was an enigma in the art, and will be for the rest of his life. Tank will be known as a barstool fighter who has no respect for the art or the people involved in it.

Lee wins. Hands down. The bigger man isnt always the stronger man, nor the smartest man.

Bruce lee is a genius fighter. He thinks strategies when fighting and that's hard to do if you're in a fighting situation.

If Bruce lee was in his prime Bruce Lee would kill him with his one inch punch. He would knock Tank out.

Tank Abbott would get whooped like he's never been whooped before. Lee is too fast and very well round martial artist.
