Ultrasound has been not been shown to be harmful to babies.

I'm not sure that I entirely understand your question though.

No, it is not harmful. However, it is loud to the baby since it transmits sound waves through fluid, so it is generally limited to necessity. Or one "fun one" per pregnancy to find out the sex. ;)
