if sex is the only thing that is important to you then you are a very shallow person. so i would say maybe you should leave him so that he can move on with his life and find someone that loves him for who he is not what he can and can't do.

That seems like a hard choice...but if you really love him i think you could find a way around it. First off have him see a doc so they can do most of the fixing of the problem. And then for yourself, get on top. It might be more fun then you think and you might just like it better. I always thought it was boring but now its the only way i like it lol. So try first...then if you think you cant deal with it then maybe you can leave. But try first, i promise you should try first. You dont want to end up making the wrong decision..

If you have to actually ask that question, then you should examine whether or not you really love him period. There are ways to engage in intercourse that will be comfortable such as what the other Yahoo users have suggested. Perhaps you need to examine your priorities: your relationship with him and having to find ways to make him comfortable during intercourse, or the desire to have sex and not be in a potentially sexless relationship, as you put it. Good luck to you.

No, don't leave him. theres alot of ways to have sex without hurting his back, u try side ways, or U being on top...or even U facing away from him and him just relaxing on a slanted chair. Try in the water like ina pool, that will take alot of strain off his back and makes U practically weightless. but don't leave him just because he can't perform as u like, would U like for him to do that to you?

Oh for Pete's sake, have him go to a doctor and get his back fixed or try different positions....I think you're just bored and want to leave otherwise you wouldn't be using sex as an excuse since there are so many other ways to be satisfied then just sexual intercourse....

there's always toys.
Did he try a chiropractor or a doctor?
How can someone else tell if you can handle a sexless marriage or not?
Why did you get engaged if you didn't know if you wanted to marry him?

Tell him to do something about it (such as exercise or physiotherapy) or that you are leaving. It's his problem and he's making it yours. You should not have to suffer for something he did 10 years ago. And if his back has hurt him for 10 years, I think that tells you that he is not good at solving problems quickly and that could lead you to other problems in your relationship.
Most importantly, make it his decision as well as yours. If he is willing to do something about it, then you don't have to leave him.

There are alot of options out there for bad backs most of the time the proper exersise regiments suggested by phsical therapists is best. if there is no hope for his injury then I'd say bye bye.

Maybe he should start working out. Or streching before you have sex. Maybe you could get on top.
