Perhaps if they shared that Germanic work ethic their nation would not be so... screwed up.
I've been down to Mexico. So many things unfinished. Luxury homes on the hillsides waiting for 'manana' to get windows and doors installed, for months. Even the luxury hotel 'Coral' was unfinished, though open for business and nobody working to finish the room fittings. It was weird.

Let me use the foriegn exchange students as an example. When they first get to America they are so nice and eager to work. They do the best job ever They are here to work. But right before they go back home they start slacking. Being mean to some people, calling in, quitting out of the blue, goofing off. Their time is almost done here and they are going home. They came and did what they had to do now they could care less. Same with the illegal Mexicans. They are here to work. That's why they do a good job. But if they got citizenship and the rights as every one else they can just as easily become like every one else. People are people. And react basically the same given similar situations. The situation they are in makes them excellent workers. They want to buy the things they couldn't in mexico because they couldn't make the money while they were there. Now that they can, they become good workers because they know that's how they will get what they want. It's not a race thing, it's a situation that they are in thing.

They are a pain in the *** to work with. i speak some Spanish, and they don't even understand 'no' sometimes. They just keep on truckin' like they're deaf.

They will say ANYTHING in an ATTEMPT to Justify them being here ILLEGALLY. They call us Racist, Tell us there Better workers. ALL without any Merritt. Desperate people resort to desperate tactics when they know there Loosing the argument. And Yes it is VERY hard to attempt to train someone who can't speak English. I also know this first hand. I would rather work with a Lazy person I can communicate with. Rather than a hard worker I can't understand and who can't understand me.

I agree with you. I strongly feel that's what a lot of those Mexican illegal worker protests organizers want the legislators and voters to believe. The thing that deeply concerns me is how little these people value law and order, intellegence and education.

I don't. I think that they are criminals and should be treated as such. Even more to blame than the immigrants though are the people who employ them. They should be fined heavily and put in jail for atleast 6 months.

They make 20 bucks a week in Mexico, that is why they are here. The sad part of that is that many American companies are the ones paying them twenty bucks a day in Mexico. Stuff will hit the fan soon.
God Bless the U.S.A.

Coming to the U.S. was the hardest thing they have ever done in their life. If you ask me they are extremely hard working. I don't know who you have dealt with, but the ones I know are very hard working honest and respectful people. Oh yeah and they have learned English too.
