Contact your county social service department. Most states have health care help programs which I believe your family will easily qualify for.

I just want to say first of all that you are doing a wonderful job. Many people just wouldn't be able to taken on what you have taken on. Is there anyway his father could help him w/ his bath? That may be able to make him more comfortable. They make these shower chairs that have some straps and such on them maybe u could get something like that so he could have some privacy. As far as his sleeping I really don't know how to help there. Just maybe put him as far from ur bed as possible on his mattress and just incourage him that soon he will be able to sleep in his own room. You just want to make sure he's gonna be ok. Just explain to him the best you can. I wish you lots of luck!! God bless you!

The best suggestion is to get some type of family counseling to help deal with the situation. I know that it has to be a very hard burden on your family, financially, emotionally, mentally, etc... A family counselor in your area would be able to help you and your family with all areas, including your specific problem. They are trained in areas like this and could possibly even introduce you to other people that may be going through the same things that you are so you don't feel alone.
You could look in the phone book for a family counselor, contact your health department or mental health center.
The best of luck to you.

Is your son receiving social security disability? If not, you can apply and he may be eligible for a monthly check to help with the special equipment he needs. also, check with you county's social services dept. You may be able to get an attendant to help with your son and give you a few breaks once in awhile.

Try contacting the Asthma Resource Center and I believe you meant AD/HD, so try their website too. They can give you information about free items and benefits you may be entitled to, which can help you deal with this difficult situation. I wish you all the best.

You really aren't saying what kind of help you want or need. My guess is that you are stressed out and need a break. I don't blame you. Start locally with community centers or churches, they can either help you or direct you to people who can.
Good luck.
