So me and this guy were together for 9 months, we broke up because I got really mad (and I should have handled it different...) but anyway... now I realize I was wrong. It was in June when we finally ended it. I really do love him, and I want to try it again, we talk some, but it's not like we're close anymore. (which to me is understandable). When he's hanging out with his friend, his friend constantly texts me and says stuff about him, not anything huge, just stuff like, "Hey, me and "bob" just went to see a movie." or ""bob" so quiet at school now." and stuff like that... I feel like "Bob" may be putting his friend up to it to see what I'm up to, but I don't know.
I guess my question is this... How can I try to get him back without TOTALLY embarrassing myself if he doesn't feel the same way as he used to.

The only way that you can get the answer to this question is from him. You have to talk in order to find out. I would say that the easiest way is to get away from the friend or get him to himself and explain to him that you were wrong, you know that and that you are sorry for it. You would do anything to change it but you cannot change the past. You then can tell him that you would like to give it another shot if he is willing. If he says yes that is great. If not then the easiest way to bow out is to say to him that you understand. You hate that it came to this but you do understand. Thank him for the good times and then, drop it and move on. Don't attempt conversation or casual run ins. Avoid him like the plague. This will help you and he both to heal. The only way you are going to find out though is to ask him.

swallow that pride and just talk to him...honestly and openly...when you care about somebody you shouldn't feel embarrassed to talk about your feelings. If he isn't interested he will tell you...you will get over it. If you don't say anything what will you have missed out on?

there is no way.if you want him back you just have to take the punches that come with it.suck it up be brave ask him out for a coke after school and just ask him straight out.chances are he wants it to.

whos care if you love him dont let your ego get in the way hurry before its too late.....YOu can lose someone being stubborn and if he doesn't want you will be able to move on faster because you know you tried....

Start by asking him ona group date........If he shows then you'll know by his behavior what he is feeling.......If he doesn't show, then you know that he doesn't want to get back with you and you save yourself any embarrassment........Take care,honey.........
