Hi ~ I am traveling to England next year from New City in the USA. I am planing a trip for my daughter and I to visist my mother who lives in Leek, England and will be visiting Minehead Wales England. I am wondering which is the closest International airport to Minehead any ideas much appreciated as I have No idea. I was thinking of may be taking the train from the airport. I do not drive.

Heathrow appears to be the closest airport to Minehead.

NEC in Birmingham is the closest, but you should be able to fly from Minehead to Heathrow/Gatwick and transfer from there

Naming or renaming a place after an actual person alive ? Not just them, but about other people who is not dead ? Why not Henry the XVII airport?

I think Birmingham International Airport would be good for you and there is a train station there too.
