however, a couple of months ago there were untold hundreds of illegals along with legal immigrants i assume marching and demonstrating in downtown seattle, it was a peaceful demonstration and was observed by local law enforcement agencies.. my question is, why were people not checked for immigration status on that day, and detained if they could not provide proof of legal status?...seems like flaunting status in the face of authorities to me..am i wrong to question any of this??

Even animals understand that there is strength in numbers, hence herd mentality.
These criminals banked on the fact that with so many out in public they would have the protection of the crowds. Like a herd. They also had numbers in their favor, there were so many of them that they overwhelmed the police, and as long as the protest remained peaceful they stood a good chance of not being singled out of the crowd, again herd mentality at work. They were right as to the strength in numbers gamble, they lost when they did not take into account the memory of the American public. We are outraged and they WILL pay. It is happening all across America as we type. Wolves know how to hunt a single animal within a herd, use patience and wait for an opening to cut a few out of the protection of the herd, then strike. Easy kill.

City officials didn't want to be spotlighted in the national news or to have a riot on their hands.
When police are dealing with a large crowd of people, they have what is called crowd mentality, to think about. Arresting a few people in a situation like that can lead to businesses being destroyed, crowd hysteria and serious injuries of innocent people. Police have to take a look at the whole picture and think of what is best for everyone.

I honestly think that this govt. is behind all these protests done by illegals....The mindset of an illegal is NEVER to be exposed....
Someone higher up, in govt. is organizing these protests for insidious reasons....Perhaps they want to distract the American public from other real issues, which are far more dangerous to our country....
SOrry I don't buy it, that a bunch of illegals just decided to protest on there own, THEY KNOW BETTER!

you are right to question the behavior of those criminals.........
ive noticed here that home depot no longer allows illegals to gather in the parking lot....they line the streets outside the parking lot,,,,and police are within view.....
good.......illegals=criminals
