Seems like the reasonable thing to do is try you're best to move on. It'll take some time, but its not helping the longer you're stuck on him. Help yourself, and help him and really, try to get past him. There's other fish in the sea, hon. Ask a friend on how to get your mind off him. Try to write down all the things that might upset or irritate you about him, even the little things. If that doesnt help, either try talking to other guys and keep your mind open for a while, and hopefully that'll help you realize you're capable of finding someone worth your time. G*luck!

1. I never expect a guy to pay for my dinner, i will offer to pay as well. 2. I wouldn't necessarily say that sex is love. But you are a good guy to think of how she feels, most guys don't really care, hell i know plenty of girls that dont care. People are to careless with their bodis! 3. I love it when a guy opens a door for me and i am always sure to tell them thank you. That is a very polite thing to do. I myself find it attractive to see a guy open a door for me, an older person, or anyone really. I'm kinda old school some would say maybe. 4. If I ask someones opionion, I expect it to be an honest one, even if its not what i want to hear, i asked for it so ill deal with it. 5. Not real sure what you mean about the femenist ideals thing. 6. Like i said in q#1 i never expect anything out of a guy really, this would be another time that i would offer as well. 7. I think that if able both should work, that way if a situation was to come up where either didn't have a job you wouldn't be broke. 8. I think that alot of things change in a relationship after sex, the relationship is taken to a whole new level. A more serious level i guess. To have sex with someone you obviously have some kind of special connection with the other person. 9. My motto for looking at other women/men is you can be on a diet and still look at the menu, you just can't have it lol 10. There is always a reason for leaving somebody, whether it be your not happy or you know they aren't the one for you. Whatever it may be you should always tell the other person why in my opinion. I think you just haven't found the right girl yet. I am sure one of these days some lucky lady will come along and appreciate your kindness but until then don't think that all women are bad please. Why would you be in love with someone of such poor character like this? Realize he's a jerk and get on with your life. Stop thinking about him and think about other people. Your family, your co-workers, world peace, whatever.
The amazing thing is that so often people are "in love with someone who doesn't like them, while someone else is feeling the same way about them!
In a way, its protecting yourself from having to do anything. If you're in love and he isn't, you don't have to work at the relationship. If he were there you'd have to be dealing with each other, the whole toothpaste cap bit and everything.

Well if you can still communicate with him, try to find out why he can't stand you anymore and see if the problem lies in him or you.(or maybe it's in the relationship itself!)/
After that, look for someone else and armed with your new knowledge be determined to make this relationship the best one you can and if this new person can't stand you than it's his fault, not yours.

Yeah i know its hard but move on, i once loved someone who didnt love me and oh man did i come out of it bad, took me 2 years to date again. trust me you will get hurt. Be strong. I know it can tear you up inside but in the long run you will save yourself an awful lot of anguish.

Move on. I know it's hard to do, but you'll find someone who does love you, and that's a whole lot better than wanting someone who doesn't.
